Camp Kesem is open to any child, ages 6-17, affected by a parent’s cancer, and is open to children with parents at any stage of cancer or remission. Kesem is also open to children whose parent has passed away from cancer at any time during their lives. Camp Kesem is entirely free of charge for all participating children, thanks to the hard work of their student volunteers.
The camp is staffed by University of Minnesota Students many of whom have personally been impacted by cancer. It will be held at Hope Shores Bible Camp + Retreat Center in Eden Valley, Minnesota. Summer 2016 Camp dates are August 14th-19th (week 1) and 22nd-27th (week 2). The Camp is filling up fast.
