Please register for the RIS Support Network:, click here
Thank you for seeking our organization for support and resources for you or your loved one's diagnosis of sarcoma. Since our inception in 2001, the Karen Wyckoff Rein Sarcoma Fund has had the opportunity to serve many individuals who, like you, have waged a personal war against this disease. Please know that you are not alone, even if the diagnosis of sarcoma can make you feel otherwise.
This section of our web site is deigned to provide you with support and resources located not only here in the upper midwest but across the country. You will learn more about sarcomas, courses of treatment, medical centers specializing in the treatment of sarcomas, clinical trials, as well as organizations and travel assistance.
We are pleased to now provide the RIS Sarcoma Patient Starter Notebook for newly diagnosed sarcoma patients. For a free copy, just request one on RIS Patient Support Network form.
Download a PDF version of the RIS Sarcoma Patient Notebook, click here. (Requires Adobe Reader®

The RIS Notebook covers such topics as:
- Getting Started - including information on types of sarcomas
- Recommendations for Newly Diagnosed patients
- Being Proactive
- Doing you own research
- Resources
- Resources and support nearby a particular hospital (Twin Cities)
- Logs and Personal Information

We also have regular social and support gatherings (such as the RIS Gathering III held in February 2008) and a visiting program with newly diagnoses sarcoma patients and their loved ones. As these programs are established, we will notify you, if you provide us with contact information. To learn more about RIS Gatherings, click here.
We thank you for the privilege of assisting you on your personal sarcoma journey.
