For the first time Rein in Sarcoma leadership joined over 300 sarcoma doctors and researchers from throughout country on June 3rd in attending the SARC (Sarcoma Alliance for Research through Collaboration) semiannual conferee in Chicago.
SARC is a non-profit organization dedicated to the development and support of research for the prevention, treatment, and cure of sarcomas – a cancer of the bone and connective tissue of the body.
SARC”s mission is to provide a collaborative infrastructure to make progress in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of sarcoma. Dr. Scott Okuno from the Mayo Clinic serves as the Chief Medical Officer of SARC. In Minnesota there are three SARC Center Locations: Children’s Hospitals and Clinics, Mayo Clinic and the University of Minnesota.
Sue and Pete Wyckoff attended this pivotal conference on behalf of RIS. The meeting started with three symposium Speakers whose theme was the liquid biopsy.
