Thanks to the more than 1,000 of you who attended the 10th Annual Rein in Sarcoma - "Party in the Park"  held on Monday evening, July 26th at Cafesjian's Carousel and the Como Park Visitor Center in St Paul presented by CVS Caremark Pharmacies

  • There is a whole "new look" for the 2010 event using an image from award winning photographer Greg Murphy.  Greg, an award winning local photographer, donated the spectacular sunflower print (pictured above) for use by Rein in Sarcoma. To learn more about Greg Murphy, click here.
  • CVS-Caremark Pharmacy has become Rein in Sarcoma's first presenting sponsor. Renewing and expanding its commitment to Rein in Sarcoma, CVS Caremark Pharmacy is supporting the Party in the Park through financial support, professional marketing support and the use its 44 CVS local pharmacies to inform the public about Sarcoma cancers.   • Renewed and increased sponsorship support will be provided by Fairview University Medical Center and the University of Minnesota Physicians which will again sponsor the opening program and closing ceremony. American Family Insurance, - for the fifth straight year will sponsor the Sarcoma Family Picnic for sarcoma patients, survivors and their loved ones. The picnic takes place just before the 10th Annual celebration.  Other returning sponsors include Park Midway Bank and Building Arts -Sustainable Architecture and Construction .   • RIS 2010 Committees include:
    • PR and Marketing committee chaired by Christin Garcia
    • Picnic Committee - chaired by Jule Seiber
    • Program and Logistics -   Logistics is led by Mike Trucano, Jim Hebert and Kraig KuuseninThe program is being developed  by Chairman Swartz and Shannon Pierce.
    • Volunteers organized by Nancy Hendrickson
    • Silent Auction committee led by Pete Wyckoff and Jason Patalonis
    • Merchandise is being chaired by Sarah Giga.

Join the Fun In Planning the 10th Annual Rein in Sarcoma

  • Silent Auction: Solicit or donate a Silent Auction Items and help on day of event
  • Logistics and Programming: Help design and set up the event, do on-site registration, volunteer for event features,  and close down the event
  • PR and Marketing - Help publicize the event for attendees and the public
  • Picnic - Help plan, serve and clean up the 2010 Sarcoma Family Picnic.
