Description: "Split Rock Lighthouse Under Moonlight", an original water color by nationally acclaimed East Coast painter Karol Wyckoff. In honor of Rein in Sarcoma's 10th "Party in the Park" Karol, who is also Karen's aunt, has painted a beautiful picture of Spit Rock Lighthouse bathed in moonlight. Interest in this painting will be high as it is also the 100th anniversary of Split Rock Lighthouse an iconic symbol of strength and hope in Minnesota. This original water color is 10 1/2" x 14" in a triple matted 17" x 22" frame.
About the Artist...A graduate of Rhode Island School of Design and a former art director in New York and Boston, Karol's background includes commercial illustration, promotional design and advertising. During these past many years, as a watercolorist, she has enjoyed a very lucrative, satisfying and busy career. Karol plays an active role in her community through Rotary International, teaching art, volunteering at various art organizations, and donating her art to several charity functions each year. Karol is a member of many arts associations including the New England Water Color Society, the International Society of Marine Painters, The Copley Society of Boston, and the American Artists Professional League, New York. Karol Wyckoff's art has won her numerous national and local awards.
