Come join with sarcoma survivors, patients, their immediate families and those who have lost someone to sarcoma to laugh talk and be fed! This Sunday, October 10th from 2:00 - 4:30 pm at French Lake Park in Plymouth is our next "Fall Gathering."

During the afternoon we will have a chance to visit, share stories, hopes, and concerns. Joining us will be soulful Latin American and American jazz guitarist Rob Everest. This Fall's "Gathering", sponsored by "Pulse" the Christin Garcia Fund, will be a wonderful opportunity to meet and learn from others who are facing sarcomas. It will also be a rare opportunity to both gain and provide support to others.  Read more....

The Rein in Sarcoma Gathering VI will start at 2:00 pm with live entertainment provided by Rob Everest - who brings authentic Latin American music to the Twin Cities. Twin Cities pages wrote: "Everest has one of those delicately soothing voices, like Michael Franks or Paul Simon. And his gentle Latin American folk-pop tunes are imbued with a subtle complexity reminiscent of Gilberto Gil or Milton Nascimento." To Learn more about Rob visit his website by clicking here. This will be a time to meet others, enjoy the beautiful scenery sample a fall respite of apple and fall treats including apple pie. French Lake Park should be beautiful, with great trails and fall colors. There is also an amazing playground. So plan to come early, stay late. Families with Children are welcome to join us.

RIS Gatherings are a celebration of life and support. The Rein in Sarcoma Gathering VIII will also include (starting about 2:45 pm) a time of sharing, an update on the work of the Foundation, and learn about the new Third Edition of  the RIS Sarcoma Patient Handbook.
