Come join with sarcoma survivors, patients, their immediate families and those who have lost someone to sarcoma to laugh talk and be fed! Plan now to attend our 8th  "RIS Gathering" on Sunday, October 30th from 1:45 - 4:30 pm at French Lake Park in Plymouth

During the afternoon we will have a chance to visit, share stories, hopes, and concerns. Joining us for great entertainment will be "Men in Black" a five person "mostly" acapppla group who will entertain us with music of our age.

This Fall's "Gathering", sponsored by "Pulse" the Christin Garcia Fund, will be a wonderful opportunity to meet and learn from others who are facing sarcomas. It will also be a rare opportunity to both gain and provide support to others.

Join us at 1:45 pm to gather around great food to learn from, share and contribute to the RIS Sarcoma Community. At 2:00 Men in Blackpm the "Men and Black"  who performed RIS "Party in the Parks" in 2006 and 2007 will return to provide their great talent in a more intimate setting.

Over the past twenty years the “Men in Black” have been affected by vocal jazz, spirituals,1950's schmaltz, barbershop, doo-wop and other influences so that eventually their interests in secular music began to dominate their repertoire. Today they harmonize to popular music, including Doo-Wop, folk and spiritual arrangements. To learn more about the Men in Black, click here,

This will be a time to meet others, enjoy the beautiful scenery sample a fall respite of apple and fall treats including apple pie. French Lake Park should be beautiful, with great trails and fall colors. There is also an amazing playground. So plan to come early, stay late. Families with Children are welcome to join us.

RIS Gatherings are a celebration of life and support. The Rein in Sarcoma Gathering VIII will also include (starting about 2:45 pm) a time of sharing, an update on the work of the Foundation, and an opportunity for you to become more involved in the life of our Foundation.
