We all have connections, wheather it be family, friends, neighbors, collegaues.or just your friends on Facebook or Twitter.

Fill out the form with the names of people who are a part of your social network. Think about who they really are, what they do professionally, socially. What do they do in their free time and who are they connected to? Every person you know has a connection to someone who may be able to obtain a great auction item. I just learned a neighbor of mine has a son who owns a restaurant so he is donating not only a dinner but a case of Italian wine available nowhere in the United States. It comes from asking.
We need to better identify resources within the RIS volunteer community that can lead to really great auction offerings. A restaurant gift card is great but if you know a chef who can make a special dinner- we have a better auction item. A pair of Vikings tickets is great- but seats in a private box are better.
