Rein in Sarcoma (RIS) is expanding our Patient and Family Support Committee and you are invited to join us. The main focus of the Patient and Family Support Committee is to create a supportive network for Sarcoma patients, survivors and their loved ones and those who have lost someone to Sarcoma.
The Committee will plan and serve at social gatherings including the Winter Gathering, the Party in the Park and develop new support programs for our Sarcoma community. Committee members may also communicate with Sarcoma cancer patients and their family members via phone conversations, letters, emails or personal visits. Furthermore, the Committee will help distribute the RIS Sarcoma Patient Starter Notebook for newly diagnosed cancer patients. This is only a starter list of things we have done. We need your creative input on what new ideas will help our patients and families.
Please see the RIS Events Calendar for the next Patient and Family Support Committee meeting.
Please come and share your ideas about how to make this a supportive committee!
