The Rein in Sarcoma Patient and Family Support Committee is hosting a Fall Gathering, “Rein in Sarcoma Remembers,” for family and friends who’ve lost a loved one to sarcoma. The event will take place on Thursday, November 30th from 6-9 p.m. at the Solar Arts Building in Minneapolis. The evening will include time to connect with others who have experienced a similar loss. We will break bread as we enjoy appetizers and share our experiences and memories.
We will also be making a fun keepsake art project in memory of our loved ones. We’re aware that sarcoma strongly affects caregivers and the loved ones of sarcoma patients and we’re hoping to bring encouragement and support to anyone who is grieving. Everyone who’s lost a loved one to sarcoma has a unique story and this is the place to safely share your memories and experiences with others. See the event pdf.
The evening will include social time with appetizers from Marino’s Deli, a presentation from Allie DeCamillis of Gilda’s Club, table discussions, guitar music and a keepsake art project which will be led by a local artist. The night will be both encouraging and uplifting. We hope you can join us!
Please RSVP using our online form or call Sue Wyckoff (651-486-9114) by Monday, November 20th
