Join with others to share common experiences, as well as gain and offer support. Sarcoma medical professionals and researchers from the University of Minnesota, the Mayo Clinic, and Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota will also be there to socialize and visit informally.
The Sarcoma Family Picnic is free, although advanced registration is required.
Registration will open about June 1.
We hope you will stay for the 18th Annual Rein in Sarcoma "Party in the Park" a public event which follows the picnic (at 6:00 pm) up the hill at the Carousel and Como Park Visitor Center. Learn more about Rein in Sarcoma's 18th Annual Party in the Park.
During the picnic you will have an opportunity to create a luminary that will be displayed and lit with a candle in honor or in memory of a sarcoma patient or survivor. The names of the luminary dedications will be read at the closing ceremonies at the Party in the Park. The 18th Annual Rein in Sarcoma "Party in the Park" fundraiser immediately follows the picnic at the Carousel and Como Park Visitor Center. We encourage you to register for the Party in the Park as part of your Picnic registration. Take a look at last year's Party in the Park and the 2017 Party program.
It takes many volunteers to make the Sarcoma Family Picnic and Party in the Park great events. Please consider getting involved with planning, set up, tear down, or spend part of the Party assisting with the Auction, Children's Arcade Games, or the many Party activities. Pick a job (or two) and volunteer below. Come to the next All Hands planning meeting, April 23, or email Frank Miske, our Event Chair.
