The Rein in Sarcoma Patient and Family Support Committee is hosting its second annual Rein in Sarcoma Remembers event on Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 1-4 p.m. This will be a free family-friendly event that will be held at the lovely Silverwood Park in St. Anthony, MN.
This afternoon of remembrance is specifically for family members and friends who have lost a loved one to sarcoma. Attendees are encouraged to share their stories of loss as well as stories of hope and joy. This is a safe place to make connections with others who have experienced loss, and to reflect on special memories of loved ones. No one needs to walk alone in grief.
Motivational speaker and author Donna Mathiowetz will share her own experiences of dealing with grief after her son’s death. She will encourage us to reflect on our loss in helpful ways.
Following Donna’s talk, we will enjoy a fun art project led by Kat English – no art skills required!
If you are interested in attending this event, please RSVP by December 5 using the online form, or by calling the RIS office at (763) 205-1467.
