A New Years Message from Executive Director, Lachelle Semanko

As we start the new year, I want to thank our community of supporters for all you’ve done this past year. With your gifts of time, funding and advocacy we were able to make strides in all areas at Rein in Sarcoma.

Research: We were able to provide nearly $100,000 in critical sarcoma research funding to top notch institutions. Every dollar spent on research gets us closer to a cure and better treatments for those battling sarcoma. These research projects are among thousands of studies and trials taking place worldwide and we are grateful to our financial supporters for making this possible.

Education: We brought on eight new sarcoma scholars at five medical schools within the US. We created our 9th Edition Sarcoma Patient Guidebook which will be released in early 2024 for newly diagnosed patients.

Patient & Family Support: We continue to offer monthly support groups, peer to peer mentorship, microgrants, tote bags of hope and gatherings – all free of charge to sarcoma patients and families.

We could not do this important work without you. You make the difference! For those who attended events, gave financially, helped spread awareness, volunteered your valuable time…We thank you!

We look forward to your continued support as we look to support even more patients and families, fund even more research and expand awareness of sarcoma and the importance of early diagnosis in 2024.
