Rein in Sarcoma will be hosting our second annual Charity Golf Challenge at the historic Keller Golf Club in Maplewood MN on Monday, August 20.

The Charity Golf Challenge is fast approaching, so clean up your clubs and put a winning team together to benefit Rein in Sarcoma's mission. Lunch and buffet dinner are included as well as games on the course with prizes and awards.

Registration Now Open – Party in the Park

Registration for the 18th Annual Party in the Park and the Sarcoma Family Picnic is now open! These are Rein in Sarcoma signature events happening on Monday, July 23 at Como Park in St. Paul, MN.

The Sarcoma Family Picnic is for all those affected by sarcoma – patients/survivors and their close family and friends, and those who have lost a loved one to sarcoma. It is an opportunity to share good food, fellowship and mutual support. Attendance is limited with a registration deadline of July 16th, so sign up soon. We hope all picnic goers will continue the evening’s fun by attending the Party in the Park, which immediately follows the Picnic. You can register for both the Picnic and Party on one form.

The Party in the Park is also open to the public so invite your neighbors, friends and extended family. There are lots of fun activities for the kids, a silent auction, raffle, sarcoma stories, a meaningful program and entertainment. There is an entrance fee of $15 per individual or $25 per household (family up to six persons). Register, soon, as the price will increase by $5 after July 16th. All proceeds from the event will go towards Rein in Sarcoma’s three-pronged mission of educating, supporting patients and families, and funding sarcoma cancer research.

Join the Party in the Park All Hands Planning Meeting – June 11

Do you want to make a difference? Rein in Sarcoma needs YOU!

Our 18th annual Party in the Park is scheduled for Monday, July 23rd. We need help with marketing, auction, set up, tear down, raffle ticket sales, luminaries, merchandise, photography, concessions, children’s games, adult ring toss and more! Join us for the “All Hands Meeting” on Monday, June 11th to help us plan this amazing event.

Social time (with snacks) begins at 6:30 p.m. at Sunrise Bank Community Room, 2525 Wabash St Saint Paul, MN 55104 with the meeting beginning at 7:00 p.m. Meet sarcoma survivors, passionate volunteers and leaders, and find a volunteer position that speaks to you! We appreciate your RSVP, but it’s most important that you attend!

Our board member, Val Lopez, created a beautiful poster for our event, which we’ll be distributing at the meeting. We need your help posting them at local hospitals, clinics, coffee shops, libraries, community bulletin boards, etc!

Our merchandise chairs Ali Engelhardt and Chelsey Olafson will have exciting new superhero capes and masks available. It’s unlike any design we’ve ever had!

Raffle chair, Sarina McNamara, will have raffle tickets available for those interested in helping with sales! We got great prizes again this year. All proceeds will benefit Rein in Sarcoma’s three-pronged mission: education, patient and family support, and funding research!

Bring items for the Silent Auction! As an added incentive – for each auction item secured by our June 11th All Hands Meeting we will enter your name in a drawing for a pair of tickets to an AMC movie theater. Whether or not you can attend this meeting, be sure to sign up as a Party/Picnic Volunteer to make sure we know how you’re interested in helping out, and so that we can keep you informed of the details.
