2024 Silent Auctions Need Your Help

Help us raise the necessary funds to keep RIS going and growing.

We are excited to be planning in-person events this summer and fall. Our signature event, Party in the Park, is returning to Como Park on July 29, is our largest community gathering of the year. The Fall Fundraiser is being held at the Nicollet Island Pavilion on October 4 and is the largest fundraiser of the year for Rein in Sarcoma.

One way you can help is by donating to our silent auction. The auction is a popular event and an important fundraising component of each event. We can use your help to solicit donations. Whether you ask for a gift card, a service, or a product, your participation is critical to a successful auction and to raising funds to support the RIS mission.

As always, a Gift-in-Kind form is required with donation

You can also download the auction item solicitation letter template for your asks:

Now, more than ever, your commitment and support is needed.

If you patronize a certain business – restaurant, coffee shop, dry cleaner, salon, gym, pet care establishment etc., please consider asking them for a donation.

Early diagnosis and advances in treatment can help increase sarcoma survivors. You play an important role in making that happen!

Here is where your ASK for donations starts! Ideas for auction items:

  • Fitness Equipment, especially the bike industry- think Peloton
  • Furniture and home décor
  • Home improvement and contractors
  • Landscaping and yard care services
  • Garden centers and suppliers
  • Appliance stores
  • Game stores and game companies (fun family night basket theme idea)
  • Grocery industry and stores
  • Liquor industry and stores
  • Pet industry
  • MN made
  • Artisanal, handmade, or boutique items

This year, more than ever, we need your assistance in contacting your social network of family, friends, colleagues, Facebook and ASK, ASK, ASK.
