Dear Community Members,
We are thrilled to announce Lachelle Semanko as our new Executive Director of Rein in Sarcoma! We are preparing for her to take our reins on Monday, April 17.
Described as the heart of her organization, she worked at Make-A-Wish Minnesota for over the past twenty-three years. She has grown from the ground up starting with three staff members to the Vice President of Mission Delivery on a team of twenty with seven direct reports. She leads with listening, learning and thoughtfulness to discern steps that need to be taken. She has been in our office, seen our systems, knows our technology and has discussed our organization at length. Her administration, mission and managerial skills are going to support our continued outreach with seasoned experience. She is a Minnesota native, married to her husband of 20 years and is the mom of two sons with a large, local, extended family. She is a Certified Master Gardener, podcast enthusiast, loves to crochet and she understands cancer.
Please join for an open house on April 19 between 10am-12pm or April 20 between 2pm-4pm to meet Lachelle and celebrate volunteer appreciation week. We will have treats and prize drawings at our Fridley office.
