Rein in Sarcoma was the lucky beneficiary of a remarkably successful fundraising drive by Rogers Youth Hockey Association in January. With the inspired leadership of hockey mom Kari Como, RYHA raised over $12,000! With two current players currently or recently in sarcoma fights and the beloved dad of two more taken by sarcoma, the community banded together and demonstrated hockey can be more than fun, action, skill and character building, it can also be a significant force for good. Using Rein in Sarcoma’s new web platform for individual and team events for the first time, RYHA and RIS teamed up to learn how to more easily host an event for all who are interested in transforming your own ideas into fun and successful experience.
