March RIS Named Fund Honorees

Alyssa Jeske Dobson

Alyssa had Epithelioid Sarcoma and after an eight-year struggle, she died at the age of 28 on March 17, 2008. She would love the idea of her family/friends supporting the RIS. She would whole-heartedly support research to stop this disease.

Heidi Minor

Heidi had multiple delays in diagnoses and passed away from  Leiomyosarcoma on April 15, 2017. She loved her children, grandchildren, and her husband, Pat. “Together, we work to help other patients, families, and focus on celebrating her life.”

Nick Convey

Nick had back pain that was getting worse. It  was Ewing Sarcoma. Nick handled the diagnosis with grace, but on March 2, 2017, he passed away. Nick wanted to end childhood cancer. His family has set up a fund to fulfill his wish.

Christian lived an active life of adventure and nature until his Spindle Cell Sarcoma diagnosis. He continued to plan camping trips with his beloved family, until he passed away in March 2022.
